Description

The purpose of this amendment is to: -Revise the Statement of Work; see attached -Add VHA Boiler Plant Safety Device Testing Manual, third edition, to the solicitation -Provide responses to the questions that have been asked during the solicitation The Statement of Work for this requirement has been changed. Revision to the Statement of Work requires the Contractor to have a certificate of authorization and "R" symbol stamp from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. Correspondence with the small businesses that expressed interest during the sources sought notice (VA257-16-N-0448) for this requirement indicate that they do not possess these requirements. Small businesses that are interested in this requirement must respond to the POC by the close of business on 25 February 2016, indicating that they possess the certificate of authorization and "R" symbol stamp. If sufficient small business response to the changed requirement is not received by the requested deadline, the requirement will be changed to an unrestricted full and open competition solicitation. The solicitation has been extended. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of the amendment (find enclosed) with their offer.
