THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified: (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); or (3) Small or emerging small business firms, or (4) Large business firms, to provide a hands free headset communication system, in a sterile environment, for the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital (MVH), 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison WI 53705, as described below. Summarized Description: Provide hands free communication device(s) which would allow staff members, in a sterile environment, to communicate when not in line of sight from each other. Delivery and setup of the system for hands free communication system for the cardiac catheterization laboratories. This system shall include the following: -A minimum of two base stations and 18 digital headsets to cover two laboratories. -The headsets must allow for hands free communication. -The headsets must be rechargeable. The contractor will be responsible for installing the system in the laboratories. Salient Characteristics: -Hands Free Headset Communicator -110-240v AC, 1.910-1.930 GHz -Headset System must have: oLightweight headset oDigital oWireless for hands free communication oApproximately 9 hours talk-time oInterference free for use in surgical procedures oCapability to have up to 6 users in talk mode in one procedure oAnti-microbial coating for base oLithium Ion battery oNoise cancelling microphone oMultiple port charger oCapability to use multiple systems at one time This requirement will be awarded on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with: 1.Company name. 2.Address. 3.Point of contact (name/title/telephone number/e-mail address). 4.DUNS number. 5.Tax ID number. 6.Indication of which business category (SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Business or Large Business) for which the organization qualifies. 7.A capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to provide the brand name or equal vision screener depicted above. Submit responses to the Contract Specialist, Thomas Chesak, at thomas.chesak@va.gov no later than 11:00 a.m. (Central Standard Time), 26 February 2016. Hands Free Headset Communication System for Madison MVH shall be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The NAICS Code 334290, Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing, is applicable to this acquisition; the size standard is 750 employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision. This is the only notice, no other copies of this notice will be provided.
