Description

The Veterans Affairs Contracting Department intends to procure via sole source with Advanced Sterilization for bi-annual maintenance and service agreement for Sterrad 100NX for the VAMC-Wilkes-Barre 1111 East End Blvd Wilkes-Barre PA 18711. The anticipated POP is 05/01/2016-04/30/2017 with 4, 12 month option periods. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 339112. The size standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement must submit information about their capabilities no later than 12:00 PM EST, 03/01/2016. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, April.Stanch@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA Contracting Department will proceed with the sole source negotiation to Advanced Sterilization.
