Description
This Notice of Intent to Sole Source is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available. Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 253(g), the Birmingham VA Medical Center intends to place an annual software support and maintenance procurement for a base with four one (1) year option periods beginning 1 April 2016 through 31 March 2017, as other than full and open competition with EVS Interactive, Inc. dba RedyRef, 100 Riverdale Road, Riverdale, NJ 07457. The purchase is to provide non-VA IT solution support focusing on the EVS Interactive Products' wayfinding and information systems (Kiosks and Information Board). The Contractor shall provide the following services in support of the Wayfinding and Information Systems: a.Total Parts and Labor Coverage for the Units: 100% coverage of all parts and remote contractor labor. b.Software Maintenance: Annual software maintenance including remote support, software repair, network-based update services, version upgrades, etc. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 541519. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer by 3:00PM EST on 8 March 2016. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Jessica Coleman-Smith, Contracting Specialist, NCO 7, Birmingham VA Medical Center via e-mail at Jessica.Coleman-Smith@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the contracting specialist will proceed with the sole source procurement with EVS Interactive, Inc.
