- Sole Source Justification NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Jackson, SC intends to make a sole source award to Trusted System, INC. located at 2920 Dede RD Suite D Finksburg, MD 21048-2325 for the United States Army Central (ARCENT) located at Shaw AFB, SC 29152. The proposed contract action is a follow-on requirement previously award to Trusted System, INC. for the purchase of four (4) Incognito Communication Workstations. The aforementioned workstations were delivered to Shaw AFB on-post housing. However, at the time of delivery, the information technology infrastructure (ITF) was not in place in the on-post housing area. The ITF is now in place and a sole source to Trusted System, INC. is going to be awarded to enable the workstations to become fully operational. These workstations are manufactured by Trusted Sytems, INC., and are currently under warranty, and any unauthorized alterations or work perform on these workstations by another source would void the warranty. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334112. A solicitation will not be issued. The point of contract for this action is listed below: Charles E.
