Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a full and open, competitive solicitation (N00024-16-R-5230) for manufacture, assembly and test of Build-To-Print (BTP) Signal Data Processor (SDP) assemblies. The SDP assembly is part of the Cooperative Engagement Transmission Processing Set, which satisfies the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Prime Item Development Specifications (PIDS). The requirements of the solicitation include all labor, material and any other costs required to manufacture, assemble, and test SDP units. These efforts also include all Labor and Material required to fabricate, assemble, and test the SDP assembly for the Cooperative Engagement Transmission Processing Set. In addition, included efforts are fabrication, assembly, and test of SDP repair items, engineering support services, and Data. This requirement will also require that these assembly units will be built in accordance with the SDP Technical Data Package (TDP) which will be provided as Government Furnished Information. A single, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose proposal is determined by the Government to offer the Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) proposal in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. Deliveries are anticipated to be FOB Origin. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates a solicitation release in May of Fiscal Year 2016. All information concerning this solicitation will be communicated via the Government portal of entry (Federal Business Opportunities located at http://www.fbo.gov).
