- This is a Sources Sought Notice for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. The NAICS code is 334510 and the Size Standard is 1,250 employees, and the successful vendor must be registered in the SAM with NAICS code 334510. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business set-aside is possible. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award a Firm, Fixed-Price contract to the successful offeror using FAR Part 12 commercial items procedures. The requirement is for a Cardioisaver hybrid balloon pump system, or equivalent product with the following salient characteristics: shall include pneumatic pump to optimize diastolic augmentation for cardiac patients; shall interface with Phillips bedside monitor currently used by hospital; shall operate at heart rate of 80 to 150 beats per minute; shall readily convert from hospital configuration to transport configuration. Also shall include one-year warranty, training, 24-hour clinical support, and trade-in of old equipment. Interested vendors may submit in writing their capabilities and qualifications demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement identified in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Donna Tomita, Contract Specialist, email donna.f.tomita.civ@mail.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 21 March 2016 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
