- This is a market survey to locate additional sources of supply for the Starter, NSN 2920-01-530-0444; Iskra P/N: 11.131.163, cage code 1036Q, Dewey P/N: 96-9354, cage code 14058, or Farymann P/N: 547.436.1, cage code D8889, or Farymann P/N: 547.436.1, cage code 5VT73. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of supplying any of the aforementioned parts must so indicate by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: Chi Chung Chang RDER-PRP-G, Building 6010, K2-226-58, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21001 or by email to: chichung.m.chang.civ@mail.mil. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to a listed source or a statement from a listed source demonstrating that the supplier can supply the Army with a unit from a source listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts, Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Military's requirements. The cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense.
