- Intend to award sole source based on FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis from Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC), 135 Osigian Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31088, a two year contract to provide sustainment based engineering support for United States Air Force (USAF) air-to-air missile launcher systems. No other firm possesses the required data and expertise for this task. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Any offer must clearly demonstrate the capability to respond to this requirement without detriment to the USAF air-to-air missile launcher program and must include personnel specifically qualified to provide the services described to include the time required to complete the task. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to anthony.genao@navy.mil on 23 March 2016.
