Description

This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Roche Diagnostic Corporation, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN, 46350-0457. Services will be from 03/14/2016 - 04/15/2016 under NAICS 811219. The Vendor shall provide preventive maintenance/inspection services for the Ventana NexES Stainer and the Ventana Benchmark. This contract will result in a firm-fixed price service contract for the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System. The period of performance shall be for one (1) month starting March 14, 2016 to April 15, 2016. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government to Beth.Cook@va.gov by March 14, 2016, 2:00pm, CST. Responding as an interested party under the www.fbo.gov website does not constitute convincing evidence of capabilities. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted.
