- **THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON OR ABOUT THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW. Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Commercial Item/Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about March 16, 2016. Description: This purpose of this project is to secure services for planting and netting Government-furnished tree seedlings. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor will furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: The project area is located at the Doublehead and Big ValleyRanger Districts on the Modoc National Forest in Modoc County, CA. Contract Time: 42 days Estimated Start Date: April 1, 2016 Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for Small Business. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than time and date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases. **THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE.
