- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TO SOLICITATION QUESTIONS 1. The solicitation notes one 8 hour seminar with a 4.5hr duty hours session and a 2hr evening session. Can you clarify the number of sessions for the day? For example, will there be multiple 60, 90, 120min sessions during the seminar? Or is this a daylong session with required breaks? Sessions will be, day session 1000-1530 with two 15 minutes breaks AM and PM and 1/2 break for lunch and requires registration of the participants. Evening session begins at 1700-1900 and does not requires reservation of participants. The focus is on healthy relationship presentation along with Qs & As at our Town hall meeting for Service members and Family members living in Family housing on then the Depot. 2. Please clarify whether the session is targeting military personnel and their families only or will this include civilians as well. It will help in determining language and content for the session. Service members and Family member has priority, DOD employees can also attend. 3. What is the maximum number of attendees for the session? We are hoping for at least 100 attendees but can accommodate 150. 4. How will signup occur for participants? Is this an open attendance session with a maximum room capacity? If so, what is the room capacity? Day session/workshop is by reservation only and we will be marketing on the publicity Flyers and social media. 5. Are certificates of completion required for participants particularly soldiers who may be mandated to attend? Yes there will be a certificate of completion for all attendees. 6. If signup is required for the session, will the participants be required to attend the daylong session? We are hoping that all participants will stay for the daylong session Also: I have the following questions regarding the above referenced solicitation. 1) Services provided by ACS are considered individual and family services. As this is direct client service, why isn't it listed under 624190 Individual and Family Services? This is an event, not a client service from the stand point of Family Advocacy and ACS. 2) Please clarify the requirement for a contractor for 12yrs of experience with military personnel. I have a current contract conducting FAP educator work, it is not listed in AR 608-18 for a FAP educator to have 12yrs of experience. The reason for the lengthy experience request is that it is imperative That the speaker has military experience since they are more empathetic To what the service members and family members are going through. 3) AR 608-18 requires any staff member in FAP to have a minimum of a bachelors degree in one of the designated fields. Will this be a requirement for the contract work as well? This is not a request for a contractor, this is a request for a one day speaker, So I am not sure what you mean by paragraph 3. 4) Has a HUBZone or WOSB set aside been considered for this contract requirement?
