- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Qiagen Inc, 27220 Turnberry LN Valencia, CA, 91355-1018. The requirement is for service and maintenance agreement for Qiagen EZ1 Advanced and Advanced XL Service Agreement which include one annual preventative maintenance service that covers all of the required maintenance outlined in the instrument handbook provided by the instrument manufacturer. Included are the costs for any parts which need to be replaced and the consumables needed to perform the maintenance. The service also covers any repairs that are needed on the instrument during the covered period. Repairs include the cost of the parts and labor associated with the repair. The technical support line is also available for use by the customer in troubleshooting possible instrumentation problems. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a Solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and Convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be Advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 0700 on 21 March 2016, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
