Description
Attachment I - Pre - Registration RSVP and Product/Solution Demonstration The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will be hosting an Industry Day event on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. to1:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time (EST). The event will be held at the National Institutes of Health Fisher Lane Conference Center (lower "T" level) located at 5635 Fisher Lane, Rockville, MD 20852. This event will provide a platform for HHS and industry to collaboratively explore, examine and discuss the market's leading commercial contract writing systems/solutions and products that focus on supporting various Acquisition Lifecycle Management phases, including but not limited to, purchase requests, solicitations, awards, modifications, invoices and receipts, etc. These solutions shall be capable of meeting the established federal uniform contract format -- using standard forms in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 53 (e.g., SF1449, SF1442, SF33, SF26, SF252, and OF347). Additional objectives of this engagement with industry shall include: • Offer industry an opportunity to showcase technologies which may provide the functionalities and capabilities required by the HHS workforce to perform various tasks associated with contracting, procurement and acquisition end-to-end acquisition lifecycle management. • Opportunity to discuss and/or demonstrate the commercial product capabilities and associated methodologies/technologies necessary to interface and/or integrate with existing HHS legacy systems including, financial systems, the Federal Procurement Data system, the Departmental Contract Information System, and others. Various object-relational database management systems are currently being used at HHS. • Obtain information related to proven technologies already in use by other federal departments/agencies along with new emerging technologies. Continue market research and "fact-finding" efforts in support of developing future investment and acquisition strategies. • Serves an occasion for small and large businesses to collaborate and explore potential partnership opportunities that may support development and delivery of Acquisition Lifecycle Management product solutions for HHS. Pre-registration is required for all interested parties (including Government personnel) seeking to attend. Please see Attachment I - Pre - Registration RSVP and Product/Solution Demonstration for further information regarding regristration for this event. Participation at this event is not a requirement for consideration for any future solicitation.
