Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) intends to negotiate a five year firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER). The AER medical devices are electromechanical machines that are microprocessor-controlled and designed for washing/cleaning and High Level Disinfection (HLD) of heat sensitive flexible GI endoscopes and their accessories. These machines are designed to replace some manual reprocessing steps and may limit exposure of personnel to liquid chemical germicides (LCGs). AERs all have disinfection and rinsing cycles, and some have detergent cleaning, alcohol flush, and or extended forced-air drying cycles. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS Codes is 339112. The IDIQ contract will include equipment, installation, and training.
