Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PC) intends to issue a sole source contract to Klein Associates, 11 Klein Drive, Salem, New Hampshire 03079 for the acquisition of: Four (4) each PN: 14104486, Sonar Arrays, and one (1) each PN: 14102965, ASSY,CBL TERM KIT,BHD,CONN,ARM COAX,.525. This procurement is sole source for the following reasons. The items being repaired are used on the AN/SQH-4B Battle Space Profiler System. L-3 Communications Klein Associates, Incorporated is the sole manufacturer for the Klein 5000 Series Side Scan Sonar System and does not have any authorized dealers for repair. Only L-3 Communications Klein Associates Incorporated can provide the required repair parts for the Klein 5000 series Towfish unit in accordance with accepted quality assurance. Thus, L-3 Communications Klein Associates Incorporated is the only vendor that can meet the requirements. FSC Code is 5865, NAICS Code is 334511 and Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.
