Description

Special Notice: THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO SOLICIT FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF DIFFERENT BRAND NAME OR EQUAL WATER PURIFIERS USING ENERGY RECOVERY DEVICES. The Government intends to purchase two (2) each of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) water purifiers using energy recovery devices similar to the energy recovery devices used in the following brand name models. W.S. Darley & Company- LB 400 Series AqSep c/o Danfoss - WM4800E-321, 3 x (208) 230V, 60Hz Katadyn - PowerSurvivor 80E Parker Hannafin UWM 400 24 VDC Vane PMP 1/3HP A minimum of four awards are expected from this solicitation. The offerors may submit a water purifier different from the brands listed as long as the water purifier proposed meets the brand name or equal criteria in FAR Part 52.2116-6(b) for the energy recovery device of anyone of the brands listed. The offeror may submit for one or all of the brands being requested. If submitting for a brand name not listed, the offeror will be required to provide a detailed specifications sheet of the devices energy recovery device. Item must be a COTS item, no modified or developmental items shall be considered.
