Description

DLA Troop Support's proposed contract action is to continue the Air Force Industrial Product-Support Vendor (IPV) Generation II contract to customers at Tinker AFB, Robins AFB, and Hill AFB Air Logistics Complexes (ALCs). The contract requirement is for the rapid replenishment of consumable spare parts and industrial hardware in support of the war fighter's requirements. There are approximately 88,000 NSNs included in the Schedule of Items with roughly 250,000 bins across all ALCs. Annual Estimated Quantities, Units of Issue, and Delivery vary based on items. Support for the Air Force is managed through dual sourcing of DLA-sourced material and vendor-sourced material. Under the authority of FAR 6.302; 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The proposed contract action is for Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE Code 563J1), to continue Industrial Product-Support Vendor support to the Air Force customer for a period of performance of 18 months. The estimated award date is 05 April 2016. This proposed award will run from 24 April 2016 through 22 October 2017. The justification will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305. A fully competitive Air Force IPV Generation III solicitation has been issued by DLA Aviation, which is currently open and posted to FedBizOpps under reference RFP SPE4A2-16-R-0001.
