Description
This is a market survey to locate additional sources of supply for the Engine, National Stock Number: 2815-01-486-7691, Dewey P/N: 96-9370, cage code 62502, QDS P/N: MP-028, cage code 0ZSC3. The item is used in the 5 KW, 28 VDC Auxiliary Power Unit, MEP-952B. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of supplying any of the aforementioned parts must indicate by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: Chi Chung Chang RDER-PRP-G, Building 6010, K2-226-58, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21001 or by email to: chichung.m.chang.civ@mail.mil. The response must include documentation such as test results, and/or a copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to either Dewey or QDS or a statement from Dewey or QDS demonstrating that the supplier can supply the Army with a unit from either Dewey or QDS. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts, Alternate parts would have to pass performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Military's requirements. The cost of the performance and qualification testing would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. Please complete the following questions.
