- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence College, is seeking information in the form of a capability statement on the level of interest, capabilities and qualifications of academia, small and large businesses to provide a Program of Study in the Data Sciences (PSDS). The details pertaining to this requirement and the request for information (RFI) have been posted to the Unclassified ARC. The site is on the Unclassified ARC accessible via https://acq.westfields.net/ select PSDS from the Current Efforts tab. Please find the situation below that fits you and see the associated information. 1. I Have Access to the Unclassified network, and I Have an Account on the system's ARC website. * Go to https://acq.westfields.net/, login using you Unclassified ARC username and password, click on the Current Efforts tab, and select PSDS, then click the DRFT tab to locate the draft documents. 2. I have access to the Unclassified network, But I Do Not Have an Account. * If you have never had an account on the Unclassified ARC, go to https://arc.westfields.net, click on “Register” to make an account for yourself, and then follow the site access directions given in number one above. You should use this new account that you created from this point onward whenever accessing the Unclassified ARC for any purpose. 3. I had access to the Unclassified ARC At One Time, but I No Longer Have That Account Information. * If you once had an account on the Unclassified ARC, please try using the “Forgot Your Password” link on the ARC homepage to reset your password. 4. ARC Technical Questions? Please click on the “Contact Us” link in the top right corner of the home page. The deadline for RFI responses is Monday, March 21, 2016 at 3:00PM, E.S.T. The vision of the Learning Outreach program is to provide innovative and impactful introductory to advanced-level data science training to the NGA and IC workforce through partnerships with academia and industry. Our goal is to develop workforce competencies in the following areas. ● Analytical Processes ● Data Mining ● Data Analysis ● Planning and Organizing ● Data Preparation ● Process Improvement ● Information Gathering and Research ● Problem Solving ● Statistical Analysis ● Analytical Techniques ● Customer Requirements ● Data Visualization ● Process Analysis ● Data Modeling ● Programming/Development Languages The Contractor shall propose a data science training program, utilizing commercial training courses, with learning objectives that align to development of these competencies at a minimum. The program shall include linked academic courses in data science topics, including courses in the areas of statistics, programming, and visualization. The selected Contractor shall deliver course sessions and course maintenance that assist NGA and the IC in achieving its vision.
