- Tecan Freedom EVO 150 or brand name equivalent This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability of potential small businesses (e.g., 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, veteran-owned small business, and women-owned small business) in accordance with FAR 7.104(d). The potential small business will need to demonstrate the capability to perform all facets of the work described below. The sole intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain capabilities for set-aside and procurement planning purposes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This is not an invitation for bid, request for proposal, or other solicitation, and in no way obligates the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to award a contract. BACKGROUND: The Food and Drug Administration's Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services have a requirement for Robotic Liquid Handling System with Robocolumn capabilities, accessories and Maintenance Service (with 1 Base Year four Optional Years. Below are the following technical specifications: 1. Tecan Freedom EVO 150 or brand name equivalent a. Should be no more than 150cm in width and 100cm in depth to fit in designated bench space b. Should be US 120V c. Should be able to handle volume ranges of 10nanoliters to 50 milliters d. Should have high precision liquid handling arms i) Independent control for up to 8 channels ii) Include a 96 channel option and multichannel pipetting heads e. Should have option and integration for microplate reader such as a Tecan Infinite or Safire f. Should have an integrated vacuum manifold for 96 well plates and extraction g. Should include an integrated incubator and shaker for various sample sizes including 96-well plates h. Should include various labware storage devices on the system i. Must be compatible with Robocolumn systems Please provide the follow Business information: 1. DUNS Number 2. Company Name 3. Company Address. 4.
