How many oil transformers are to be tested at Tuskegee VAMC? 42 based on Statement of work 2. How many Medium Voltage (over 1000 VAC) Dry Type transformers are to be tested? Unknown 3. How many generators and of what KW ratings are to be load bank tested at Tuskegee VAMC? 10, 80 kW - 650 kW 4. How many generators and of what KW ratings are to be load bank tested at Montgomery VAMC?3, 125kW-440kW 5. How many low voltage circuit breakers are to be fully tested at Tuskegee VAMC? Not Verified 6. How many low voltage circuit breakers are to be fully tested at Montgomery VAMC? Not Verified 7. What parts of VHA Directive 2014-1028 will apply to this solicitation? 11-14 a. Will the 4 hour utility outage be performed and who will be responsible for having the utility turn off and restore power and who will pay the cost for this utility outage? The equipment listed is not 100% verified on this solicitation. The current Statement of Work has been used for previous solicitations with no issues. 20. Due to the absence of proper arc flash labels on electrical equipment, will the VAMC electricians perform opening and closing of electrical equipment protective devices? No,the potential vendor should have proper arc flash training and should be wearing the proper PPE. Vendor B Questions 21. we are respectfully requesting that you extend the bid till the 25th, and allow access either Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning of next week. Will extend to the 23rd. 22. We didn't realize the generator testing was so involved, also, actual KVA ratings of the generators was not provided in the bid documents as well as electrical shut down plan. Without this information the generator work cannot be estimated. Generator ratings are from 80kW to 650kW.
