Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Oculus, Incorporated, 17721 59th Avenue NE, Arlington, Washington 98223-1337, for a Pentacam High Resolution Scheimpflug for the optometry clinic at the Charlotte Health Care Center, located at 3506 West Tyvola Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available. Contractors with the ability to provide the stated equipment shall provide a capability statement which includes: business name, point of contact, Duns #, business size status with socio-economic designation (i.e. small, women-owned, large, etc), proof of certified 3rd party status (if other than manufacturer), a statement of item availability, and past sales history for this equipment or similar. A determination not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NAICS Code: 339112 Surgical Medical Instrument Manufacturing / 500 Employees. Responses received by 3:00 pm EST on 3/23/2016 will be considered by the Government.
