- The Mission Installation Contracting Command Fort Belvoir intends to issue a solicitation to award a single, firm fixed price service contract on behalf of the Directorate of Logistics (DOL), Fort Meade, MD. DOL has a requirement for Full Food Service within their LRC Fort George G. Meade Dining Facility. This requirement will be set-aside for small business vendors to foster competition and encourage support in determining fair and reasonable pricing. NOTICE: The procurement is subject to the provisions of the Randolph Sheppard Act wherein preference is granted to a workshop for the blind under the rules of the Committee for the Purchase from the Blind. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price to include a base and four (4) option years. The anticipated posting of the solicitation will be on or about 27 April 2016. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. The NAICS code for this requirement is 722310 with a size standard of $38.5 million. All Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer. It is also noted that 8(a) firms must be certified as 8(a) with the Small Business Administration (SBA) as well as certified on SAM. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps for release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
