- Intent to award sole source: Depuy Synthes Sales, Inc. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations under Statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, with: Depuy Synthes Sales Inc. 1302 Wrights Ln E. West Chester, PA 19380-3417 The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by supplies available from one source. The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following interbody device implants. 09.820.0XXs (QTY 1) - Prodisc Cervical Implant. 03.820.1XXs (QTY 1) - Milling Bit, Sterile 03.820.1XXs (QTY 1) - Inserter Tip, Sterile 03.820.1XX (QTY 1) - Retainer Screw 04.647.XXXs (QTY 1) - Zero-P VA Implant 04.647.XXX (QTY 2) - 3.7mm Screw The patient requires a modular bilateral retractor to accommodate their anatomy and all interbody device implants must be carbon fiber reinforced PEEK implants. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339113; the large business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 12:00 pm Pacific Time on March 24, 2016 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Jhoana Bascon at Jhoana.A.Bascon.civ@mail.mil. The email subject line shall state, "Naval Medical Center San Diego, "Interbody Device Implants."
