Description
Scope of Work: a.Contractor must be responsible for supply, delivery and placement of one (1) Carrier 60 Ton Condensing unit. The condensing unit must be brand name or equal to model number 38AH-064-00621 to replace exactly what is there. This unit must be equipped with carrier motor masters which are annotated in the past number. It is a 60 ton R22 460v/3ph/60hz unit. Condensing unit must fit on its existing platform. This is a one for one replacement. Contractor will be responsible for purchase, delivery and placement of the new unit. The vendor will also be responsible for hauling away the old unit and disposal. Delivery and placement will require a boom truck provided by the contractor. Contractor shall perform during the weekend hours in effort to not disrupt the emergency room and pavilion entrances that have high volume during the week. Northport VAMC Engineering staff will be disconnecting and reclaiming the existing unit to be hauled away. No start up, installation, or maintenance is expected from the vendor. b.Rigging: "Crane and rigging services are required to remove existing condensing unit and lift and place the new Carrier 60 Ton Condensing unit onto the existing platform located outside of Building 200. "Site management to be performed by contractor to ensure OSHA compliance, VA and local safety guidelines are followed. "Disposal of old condensing unit in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. c.Warranty: One year warranty on the new 60 Ton Carrier Condensing unit and, at a minimum, a 5 year warranty on the unit's compressors.
