- Description
- This is a notice of intent that AFSC/PZABB, Electronic Warfare Sustainment, intends to issue a definitive contract to provide engineering and technical support services to AN/ALM-246 TEWS Intermediate Support Station (TISS) in support of the AN/ALR-56C Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) Test Program Sets (TPS). The services in support of this acquisition will provide analysis, problem investigation, problem resolution and testing, and software updates concerning the AN/ALR-56C TPS on the TISS. This action will result in the award of a Cost-Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) five year contract (one year basic and four, one year options). The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10-U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit Boeing (CAGE: 0PXV4) who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Government does not own or possess rights to re-procurement data to facilitate competitive procurement of the instant sustainment services from any other source. Interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which will be considered by AFSC/PZABB. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within thirty days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
