- Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) intends to negotiate with Boeing, 6200 JS McDonnell Blvd. St. Louis, Missouri 63134-1939, and CAGE Code: 76301 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Boeing is being sought because they hold copyrights to the data needed to fulfill the requirements of the proposed contract. The scope of this effort is for Boeing to provide an assessment of damage created by a brake fire on an F/A-18 aircraft, followed by the necessary engineering support, technical drawings, and parts to support the repair of the brake fire damage on the aircraft in question. The period of performance for this effort is estimated at 24 months. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information, which demonstrates their ability to meet the needs of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted via e-mail to William.koeditz@navy.mil no later than 2:00 PM EST on April 15, 2016. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses shall be limited to a maximum of FIVE pages. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government.
