- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Janitorial Services in three locations, Hodges Village Dam, Thames River Basin in Oxford, MA and Buffumville Lake in Charlton, MA. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, labor, and transportation necessary to clean two (2) buildings at Hodges Village Dam in Oxford MA and one (1) building at Buffumville Dam in Charlton, MA. The period of performance will be a period of 12 months from date of award. In addition, the Government may exercise two (2) optional years within the same scope; with an additional 12 months period of performance for each option year. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $150,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 19-APRIL-2016. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS RELEASED. The solicitation will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view this solicitation, prospective contractors are required to self-register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and "register now" under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561720 with a Small Business Size Standard of $18,000,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
