- Special Instructions This solicitation is to furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, except as otherwise provided herein, required to perform Crane Services at the J. Edward Roush Lake in Huntington and Wells counties, Indiana. The principal city in the area is Huntington, Indiana. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms, clauses, and conditions, incorporated herein. Services will begin on 01 May 2016 or date of award (if later) and continue through 30 April 2017. Note: This solicitation contains an option clause to extend the awarded contract for up to one (1) additional one-year period. The one-year option period is as follow: Option Year 1: 01 May 2017 thru 30 April 2018 For the base year, the Government hereby obligates itself to obtain no less than 2% of the total contract value in services. Option year one (1) is for time extensions only. One award will be made from this Solicitation. The award will be an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery Contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business, NAICS 811310 (7.5M Size Standard). Note: Award will be based on lowest quote provide by SAM registered companies (see below). The above referenced NAICS Code must be listed on the contractor's SAM registration. Method of Payment under this contract will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a commercial bank account specified by the Contractor. There is no bonding requirement for this procurement action. Quotes will not be accepted for quantities less than the quantities specified in the price breakout schedule and scope of work. Failure to submit a unit price for all items listed (base year and option) will be considered as a material deviation from the requirements of the Request for Quote and the quote will be rejected. A single site visit will be held on Wednesday, 20 April 2016 at the J. Edward Roush Lake Office. The J. Edward Roush Lake office is located at 735 North Warren Road, Huntington, IN 46750. The meeting will begin promptly 9:00am Eastern Time. The site visit/tour will include a brief visit of the facilities and a general overview of the services. Those not currently registered can obtain registration by going to the website http://www.SAM.gov. The process can usually be completed from 24 to 48 hours after submission. Contractors will need to obtain a DUNS number for processing their registration. If you do not already have a DUNS number, one can be obtained from Dun and Bradstreet by calling 1-800-333-0505.
