Description
PWS - Washer and Dryer Maintenance This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (Market Survey). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). As stipulated in FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not considered offers, shall not be used as a proposal, and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. It is request for information (RFI), and planning purposes only. This RFI does not commit the government to contract for any services whatsoever. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party’s expense. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Ft-Sam Houston is performing market research for Washer and Dryer Maintenance services. If a new requirement is awarded, it will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract with one (1) Base year and three (4) Option years estimated to be (1 May 2016 thru 31 May 2021). The primary type of work will include facilities support services under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811412. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $15 million average annual revenue for the last three fiscal years. The work to be performed at Fort Hunter Liggett is located in Jolon California Monterey County. Fort Hunter Liggett is located in Jolon California Monterey County. Fort Hunter Liggett consists of approximately165, 000 acres and 350 buildings. The population base consists of approximately 2,653 military and Government civilian and Contractor personnel, as well as, 179 resident family members. Fort Hunter Liggett conducts annual training and exercises for approximately twenty thousand (20,000) solders. The work to be performed under this services contract shall be performed to the following location; buildings 205, 207, 208, 230, 295, 229 training barracks 193, 194, 195 Unaccompanied Personal Housing (UPH) buildings and the future Operational Readiness Training Complex (ORTC). The Contractor shall provide the KO a schedule no later than (10) workdays prior to commencing work. Working under this requirement. Contractor shall perform maintenance services and preventive maintenance to commercial grade stackable and top/front load washers and dryers furnish by the Government. Contractor shall perform a basic cleaning services to the laundry room areas which is defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Cleaning service shall consist of removing, trash, sweep and mop laundry room floors and ensure counters are free from derbies. All services shall be performed in accordance to the PWS. During performance of the contract the Government reserves the right to add or delete facilities and/or the level of services required. A modification to the contract will be executed to incorporate these changes. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and award in conjunction with policies and procedures from FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Any resulting procurement action will be the subject of a separate, future announcement. This is a market research survey to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining an acquisition and contract strategy. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Government’s needs. The information in this notice is based on current information available to date. All response submissions become Government property and will not be returned, including any proprietary information. FT Sam Houston MICC reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued.
