Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers requires the purchase and installation of eight (8) sets of forty UPS ENERSYS HX300 batteries for their current Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) system with a warranty for 3 years. The current batteries have reached their life expectancy and requires replacement. Contractor requirements is to conduct an overview inspection prior to the lockout/tag out procedures for the current UPS System. Completely remove all of the existing battery string(s), package them up for recycling and install the new battery string(s). They shall test the system to ensure the equipment is operating properly. Finally, they shall recycle the old batteries. The estimated delivery of the supply is 30 May 2016. Any contractor that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Specialist within fifteen (15) days of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends on proceeding with awarding a fixed price contract to Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services, Inc.
