Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 20, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with bioMerieux Inc., for the maintenance and service of VITEK 2 automated microbial identification system for the Lab in Seattle, WA. NAICS 811219 applies. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide the preventative maintenance, authorized equipment components and repair services equal to bioMerieux Inc. preventative maintenance, authorized equipment components and repair services. Responses must be received no later than 15:00pm EST on 13 April 2016. All responses must be e-mailed to Amy.Kuczajda@va.gov.
