- RFI Questionnaire NIIN list Concept for Request of Information - Scope of Project The Government plans to issue a Long Term Contract (LTC), Firm Fixed Price, 5 year, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type acquisition for up to a total of 439 (attachment 2) National Stock Numbers (NSN) in Federal Stock Groups: (FSG) - 6150 and 5995: Cables, Lighting and Electrical Components to Federal Prison Industry, (FPI). Presently all the possible NSNs are now on a LTC contract ( SPE4A6-13-D-0030), with Federal Prison Industry/UNICOR. However, DLA intends on breaking these NSNs for the future contract into smaller increments for consideration. The first increment for consideration and this RFI is 50 NSNs. This RFI is intended to gather information from industry/companies who are interested in competing in the near future for the initial set of 50 NSNs and respond to this Request For Information. Subsequent to this RFI, there will be a follow-on RFI for another list of 50 of NSNs. Our intent is to determine at this time, if competition exists with FPI for any of these NSNs presently or possibly slated in the future, for a LTC with FPI. Attached to this RFI is a survey (attachment 1) and list of 50 first increment NSNs (attachment 3), are attached for your review and response. The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for quotation (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), or invitation for bid (IFB), or as an obligation for commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the Government as a result of information submitted in response to this sources sought announcement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement or otherwise pay for any information submitted by respondents to this request. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not indicative of a full requirement. Should a requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued.
