- Description
- The 65 th Contracting Flight, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Beta Fueling Solutions in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government's requirement is to provide and install Hymore Kits on two (2) R-11 refueling trucks at Lajes Field, Portugal. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency if received before 12:00 PM EST, 25 April 2016. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
