Description
The subject notification is not a solicitation requesting proposals. At present, this is just a notification to vendors of the government's intent to post a solicitation. The Coatesville Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Coatesville, PA, plans to be soliciting proposals seeking a vendor to supply all tools, materials, labor, and supervision to install a new air cooled chiller at the on-site Building 72 Chapel. The forthcoming solicitation will be procured as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small-Business Set-aside. The subject acquisition shall be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Contractors must have a currently valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) website, and must be currently verified in the VetBiz/VIP website. Work to include: 1. Provide an air cooled chiller - BTU rating shall be 83,620 BTU, 3 phase, 460 volts, 60Hz, full load amps 20, single compressor, single refrigerant circuit, nominal pipe thread connections 2. Demo and removal of existing chiller. Vendor shall dispose of the old chiller in accordance with applicable EPA rules and regulations. 3. Connect new chiller supply and return piping to existing building piping 4. Tie-in high voltage from existing disconnect 5. Start-up and test of chiller 6. Insulate outside chilled water piping 7. Crane service for setting equipment (if necessary). Crane plan shall be approved by Safety Office at Coatesville VA Medical Center. Work to be conducted during normal business hours Monday through Friday 7:30AM until 4:30PM. All required work shall be properly completed within three business days after receipt of order.
