Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
 

Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Philadelphia Office, 700 Robbins Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19111 intends to solicit for services under a 100% Service-disable Veteran-owned Small Business set-aside for the Advanced Medical Development Program in Fort Detrick, MD. The contractor will provide technical, analytical and management expertise to support all aspects of executive program management for Department of Defense and government biomedical research and development (R and D) programs. This procurement is being conducted as a Firm-Fixed price acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Commercial items) and FAR Subpart 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items) procedures. The award of a firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued via the internet. Interested parties may download the RFQ upon its issuance at the following website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The applicable North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541690. The anticipated base year performance period for this procurement is 16 Sept 2016 through 15 Sept 2017; following the base period of performance, four one-year options will be included, resulting in performance end date of 15 Sep 2021 (if the four one-year options are exercised). Additional information for this requirement will be listed in the solicitation upon its issuance, which is anticipated to be release no earlier than 6 May 2016.
