- Description
- JPL Supplier Profile Form for Grounds Maintenance Experience Modification Rate Form 7245 RFI Outline for Grounds Maintenance & Support Services The California Institute of Technology Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) operating under a prime contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), seeks to identify potential sources interested in responding to this Request for Information for Grounds Maintenance and Operations Support Services. JPL currently has a subcontract that provides Grounds Maintenance and Operations Support Services to its campus. This subcontract will expire on 31-Sept-2017. To ensure that JPL continues to receive quality services and competitive prices, the subcontract requirements will be competed for a potential ten year (three base years with options) engagement. To help JPL understand the competitive environment, we invite firms that are or may be interested in competing for this opportunity to respond to this Request for Information (RFI) by informing JPL of your company's interest and to comment, question, or recommend on the areas elaborated below. Please note that this RFI is not complete in terms of requirements but rather is being used in assisting JPL in refining requirements to maximize competition. JPL is open to taking advantage of modernization of services and we invite firms to suggest best practices around grounds operations and maintenance support that may not yet be part of the JPL practice but that could yield better performance and or cost. Synopsis--Please review the RFI attachment outlining Grounds Maintenance services requested. The JPL Grounds Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Support Services subcontractor shall service over 2.8 million square feet and more than 170 acres on campus. In order to identify qualified firms, please review in detail the RFI attachments outlining Grounds Maintenance Services requested and fill out the enclosed Supplier Profile form that details your firm's experience in providing the required services. In addition, please fill out and return the Experience Modification Rate (EMR) form 7245. JPL would appreciate receiving your expression of interest and the above requested information on or before 13-May-2016. Please provide this information to the undersigned by email at ARuiz@jpl.nasa.gov. Any questions should be directed to Antonio Ruiz at the aforementioned email address. It is emphasized that the requested information is for preliminary planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that JPL will solicit you for such a procurement in the future. Neither JPL nor the Government will be responsible for any cost incurred by you in furnishing this information.
