Description

The Cincinnati Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Center For Cognition and Recovery LLC. This proposed contract action is for the services of programmatic consultation, clinical training, clinical consultation and evaluation services incorporating the CET model, for which the Government intends to accomplish using commercial item procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, of other than full and open competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. The VA believes that the Center For Cognition and Recovery LLC is the only company that can provide the required type of training. The VA believes the unique characteristics of this training, the Center For Cognition and Recovery LLC is the only authorized trainer of Cognitive Enhancement Therapy. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by May 2, 2016 from the date of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information may be sent to the Contract Specialist by emailing katie.paben@va.gov on or before the date indicated herein. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA Medical Center will proceed with the sole source negotiation with the Center For Cognition and Recovery LLC for the training requested above. All responses must be received with this solicitation number in the subject line.
