- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center located in Atlantic City International Airport, Atlantic City, NJ has a requirement for two (2) above ground fuel tanks. Proposals are requested based upon the attached list of requirements. A tiered evaluation of offers will be used in source selection. The Contracting Officer has specified the below tiered order of precedence for evaluating offers (descending in order): (a) Socially and economically disadvantaged business (SEDB) expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in SBA's 8(a) program. (b) Service-disable veteran owned small business (SDVOSB); (c) Small business. Once offers are received, the Contracting Officer will evaluate a single tier of offers according to the order of precedence specified above. If no award can be made at the first tier, the evaluation will proceed to the next lower tier until award can be made with ample competition. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred for preparing responses to this announcement. Therefore, any cost associated with a response to the RFO are solely at the interested vendor's expense. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 332420 for Metal Tank (Heavy Gauge), with a size standard of 500 employees. Vendors must complete the attached Business Declaration Form and return with offer submittal. All potential vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management(SAM)(https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/)for consideration of award. OFFERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN May 12, 2016, 1:00 PM (Eastern Time). OFFERS RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Offers must provide quote with pricing and proposed delivery schedule.
