NOTE: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REQUESTING INFORMATION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED OR ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME; HOWEVER, THE GOVERNMENT DOES INTEND TO SOLICIT THIS IN THE NEAR FUTURE. Background: The Wilmington Delaware VA Medical Center is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified, technically capable vendors to furnish all parts, labor and transportation to perform an Arc Flash Analysis of the entire electrical distribution system located at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. Brief Description of Required Services: The purpose of this project is to provide a complete and comprehensive arc flash program for Wilmington VA Medical Center. The required work will include System Data, Data Collection, System Analysis, Short Circuit Study, Coordination Study, Incident Energy Study, Design Review, a Study Final Report of Findings. Based on the results of the incident energy study, the contractor shall produce and install appropriate warning labels for each piece of equipment. The contractor shall provide Wilmington VA Medical Center one day of arc flash safety training for up to 15 individuals that contains the requirements referenced in OSHA 1910.269, OSHA 1910 Subpart S and NFPA 70E.
