- --Change 3- This change (change 3) is to post additional questions for industry. Additional Waveform RFI Questions: - Does the waveform provide all capability listed using no more than 1.2MHz spectrum? o Explain what capability exists above and at 1.2MHz - Does the waveform provide a reduced capability at below 1.2MHz spectrum? o Explain what capability exists when operating below 1.2MHz spectrum - Does the waveform provide Combat Net Radio (CNR) voice? - Does the waveform provide native PLI? - Is the waveform capability available on current US DoD platforms? o If yes, how many total platforms are within the DoD (by nomenclature, service)? o If yes, how many platforms are currently used within the DoD (by nomenclature, service)? Are there platforms sitting idle? o If yes, are the platforms Type 1 COMSEC?  If yes, can the platform easily change to AES COMSEC? • If yes, is this a field change (or done at Depot)? • If yes, rough estimate of cost to DoD to make the change? • If yes, what AES fill device is available? - Do foreign partners have this waveform capability? o If yes, which nations have the capability  For each nation how many platforms and what hardware version?  For each nation, what are the software versions? o For each nation's hardware, is the COMSEC Type 1 or AES?  If Type 1, can the platform easily change to AES COMSEC? • If yes, is this a field change (or done at Depot)? • If yes, rough estimate of cost to nations to make the change? • If yes, what AES fill device is available? - Please clarify your initial responses as necessary to take into consideration all listed capabilities must be available today on this waveform. Any planned future upgrades to the waveform should be explained separately in the notes section. Responses to this RFI shall be submitted through email (Michael.m.gomes.civ@mail.mil and matthew.j.connolly1.civ@mail.mil) a. The closing date for this RFI is: 17 May, 2016 b. The closing time for this RFI is: 12:00 PM EDT Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED and segregated from nonproprietary information. Submissions will not be returned. Further, the sensitivity of the data provided should not be greater than Unclassified, For Official Use Only (FOUO). All questions/concerns must be submitted email to michael.m.gomes.civ@mail.mil and matthew.j.connolly1.civ@mail.mil. Any questions/concerns submitted after the specified date/time may not receive responses.
