- SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENT SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES AND PRICES SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR QUOTE THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE COMBINED SYSNOPSIS SOLICITATION I. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement will be satisfied using FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. II. The solicitation number is HSCG40-16-Q-11005. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). III. The incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-87. IV. This requirement is a small business set-aside sole source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 3333618, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. V. A list of the contract line item numbers (CLINS), items, estimated quantities and units of measure to be acquired for the base year and four (4) option years can be found in Attachment I: Schedule of Supplies and Prices. Insert unit and total price for all CLINS listed in the Schedule. Unit prices shall include shipping costs, free on board (F.O.B.) destination and the cost of packaging, marking and bar-coding. (Note: the Extended Price column and Extended Total should automatically calculate and populate.) VI. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT The Contractor shall provide required genuine, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for the 87' Coast Guard Patrol Boats main diesel engines and generators exhaust systems individually packaged, marked and shipped F.O.B. destination in accordance with this solicitation, specifications and attachments. The specification is titled, USCG/SFLC SP-PP&M-001 dated 05/95 Revision 6/06/11 Preservation, Packaging & Marking (Attachment II). Failure to read the specifications in its entirety will not relieve the offeror from the responsibility for properly estimating the difficulty or price of successfully performing the work. Failure to do so will be at the offeror's risk. All quotes submitted in response to this solicitation shall stand firm for 90 calendar days from the date specified in this solicitation for receipt of quotes.
