- Refrigerated Trailer Typing and Equipment Requirements Rocky Mountain Dispatch Zone Map by host Dispatch Center Sites (Availability Purposes) REGION 2 REFRIGERATED TRAILER SERVICES FOR WILDLAND FIRE SUPPORT This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, for market research purposes only, to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide services under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 484220 for Specialized Freight (except Used Goods) Trucking. Resources furnished for Wildland Fire Support may be operated and subjected to extreme environmental and/or strenuous operating conditions which could include but is not limited to unimproved roads, steep, rocky, hilly terrain, dust, heat, and smoky conditions. Interested parties are invited to provide responses via e-mail to Kim Luft, R2 Fire Contracting Officer at kluft@fs.fed.us. Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future procurement. Services are as described in the attached technical requirements document. Also attached is a Rocky Mountain Area Map for availability determination. RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS (Must provide all information below): - Contractor name, point of contact, DUNS, address, phone number, email address; - Type of Refrigerated Trailer(s) (see technical requirements document), manufacturer, and model, and QTY of equipment proposed; - Verification that the attached Technical Requirements are or can be met/capability statement; - Company size and socio-economic status; and - Availability per dispatch zone (see attached area map). In order to be eligible as "available" to support a dispatch zone, vendor is required to have resources available within 120-miles of the dispatch center. Availability to each dispatch zone is not a requirement. Please list how many resources by quantity, type, and location. -Annotation of short-suspense requirement capabilities: Business hours, after hour contacts, emergency support procedures, etc.) Vendors are encouraged to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. Registration is free of charge and is required before doing business with the Federal Government.
