- This Sources Sought is for information and market research only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA is currently conducting market research to locate qualified experienced and interested potential sources. Responses will NOT be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought announcement. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business or Large Business) relative to NAICS 327991 - Cut Stone and Stone Manufacturing, size standard 500 employees. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on FEDBIZ OPPS website. Contracting Service is seeking interested sources (contractors) for a near-future solicitation and procurement for the following: Bl- Flat Bronze Marker (12" X 24") B6 - Flat Bronze Marker, Medal of Honor (12" X 24") Tl -Old Style Bronze Marker (12" X 24") T6 - Old Style Bronze Marker (12" X 24"), Medal of Honor (12" X 24") The Contractor shall be able to handle a large volume of Flat Bronze Markers for worldwide distribution. A sample of the quantity needed for the Base Period is stated as follows: Bl Flat Bronze Marker150,295 B6 Flat Bronze Marker, Medal of Honor5 Tl Old Style Flat Bronze Markers10 T6 Old Style Flat Bronze Markers, Medal of Honor10 At this time, no solicitation exists. Therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. The period of performance shall be a 12month base period and three (3) option years to be exercised at the Government's discretion. All work will be performed during the normal work week and shall not take place on Federal Holidays or weekends. Responses must be emailed to twillie.curry@va.gov no later than 2:00PM on June 2, 2016: Your responses must include your business size and socio-economic status information. You must have a current Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA), and be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). You must also be registered in VetBiz Registry if applicable.
