Description
Statement of Work for RAMI Assessment of the ITER Upper Vis/IR Wide Angle Viewing System Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a National Laboratory and a Federally Funded Research and Development Center, operated by The Trustees of Princeton University under a U.S. Department of Energy Prime contract is seeking a qualified source to perform a Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Inspectability (RAMI) Assessment of the Upper Visible / Infrared Wide Angle Viewing System being designed and fabricated by PPPL lower tier Subcontractors to be installed in the ITER Project Reactor being constructed in France. The performance work requirements may be found in the attached PPPL Statement of Work for RAMI Assessment of the ITER Upper Vis/IR Wide Angle Viewing System, Revision 1, dated 9 May 2016. The purpose of this Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) is to determine the availability of qualified parties interested in performing the requirements of the SOW. Expressions of interest responses should include a) the identity of the individual or team members that would perform the required work, b) their availability; c) their qualification to perform tasks that will be assigned and experience performing similar work; d) a brief description of the technical approach to perform the assessment; and e) the reasonableness of the SOW performance period. This information will be used for planning purposes. No order will be placed at this time against any response received. EOI packages are to be received by lsutton@pppl.gov by 3 June 2016. PPPL plans to issue an RFP for the performance of the RAMI Assessment on or before 10 June. Organizations that submitted an EOI will receive an e-mail notice of the RFP issuance and the address where it is posted. Responses and any questions regarding this request are to be addressed to Larry Sutton (lsutton@pppl.gov).
