Description
NSN 3040-01-219-9987 Description: Disk Brake Shoe Purchased in accordance with approved source: JERED, LLC, DBA PAR CAGE: 95823 P/N B520D004 The required quantity is 4 EA. FOB and Inspection/Acceptance points will required per the solicitation. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-2, unusual and compelling urgency. The solicitation response date is 5/26/2016 at 3 PM. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about the issue date of 05/23/2016. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical data and drawings are fully visible and readily available. *There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. *This is an UNRESTRICTED solicitation and is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon factors as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 30 days. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. *The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if, after considering the additional administrative costs, it is in the Government's best interest to do so. If awards will be made to more than one source, the offer that represents the best value to the Government shall receive not less than 60% of the total requirement.
