- HI Industry Day 2016 On June 14, 2016, the Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Long Range Enforcer Product Line (LRE PL), Ice Breaker and Buoy Construction Tender Product Line (IBCT PL), and the National Security Cutter Program Office will be hosting a Honolulu, Hawaii Ship Repair Industry Day. This one-day event will provide a forum by which the Coast Guard will communicate its upcoming ship repair requirements for the Honolulu, HI area in order to increase competition by sharing useful information. There will be time allotted to network and meet with Contracting Officers and representatives from SFLC and the National Security Cutter Program Office. Companies, large and small, including socioeconomic businesses that are interested in SFLC contracting and subcontracting opportunities representing marine services that provide supplies and parts associated with ship repair are encouraged to attend. Prior or federal contracting experience is not required. This posting will be updated as more information becomes available. Please check back often to this announcement. All attendees are encouraged to increase business contacts, identify potential teaming partners, share best practices and trends and participate in networking, meet and greet and business card exchange. Please note that the SFLC does not procure IT related services or supplies, so vendors in those areas should contact the Coast Guard C4IT Small Business Specialist.
