Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested directly from GXS Incorporated. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for brand name Trusted Link Enterprise software maintenance. The TAC intends to award a sole source, 12-month firm-fixed-price contract with four 12-month option periods to GXS Incorporated, 9711 Washingtonian Boulevard, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878 pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 518210. The estimated date of award for this action is May 27, 2016. The Solicitation Number for this request for proposal (RFP) is VA118-16-P-1226. Offers are due on May 27, 2016 at 11AM EST.
