Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to complete Project Number 656-16-838, "Repair Building 50 and 51 Front Steps" at the Department of Veterans Affairs St. Cloud VA Health Care System, 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303. All work shall be conducted in complete accordance with project drawings and specifications. All work to be closely coordinated with the VA Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). DURATION OF PROJECT: All work to be completed within 90 calendar days from date of receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Complete solicitation documents will be posted at www.fbo.gov on or about June 3, 2016. Dissemination of the solicitation, specifications and drawings is limited to electronic medium. All interested parties should register at www.fbo.gov so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement and for automatic receipt of updates or amendments. A Bidder's mailing list WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer. SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the authority under Public Law 109-461 (38 U.S.C. 8127) and is a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The SDVOSB must be small under North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code 236220 and must be registered and verified in the following websites: www.vip.vetbiz.gov, www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 and the business size standard is $36.5 million. BONDS: Payment protection will be required in accordance with FAR 28.102-1(b). SITE VISIT: A one-time only site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7 at 1:00 p.m. Interested parties shall meet at the front (north) stairs of Building 51, St. Cloud VA Health Care System (address above). OFFERS DUE: 2:00 p.m. June 28, 2016, in the NCO23 Office, ATTN: Michael Reed VA263-16-R-0552, 708 South Third St. Suite 200E, Minneapolis MN 55415. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of the amendment will not be issued. Interested parties should re-visit the website periodically to look for updates. All requests for information (RFIs) are required to be in writing to the Contracting Officer and shall be received not later than Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Questions shall be emailed to Michael.reed1@va.gov. Answers shall be posted via solicitation amendment.
